Autonomous agents: the Hive, Evolve and Reviewer
Describe a task or paste a whole epic and mai's Hive splits it into pieces, puts a Claude worker on each in its own git worktree, builds them in parallel, reviews each other, and stops at a gate before anything merges — you approve and it ships. Evolve reads your codebase and proposes the next features to build, scored by impact. The Reviewer is an AI review panel that reads every diff, fixes its own findings and can hard-gate deploy, land and release. Pipelines run the whole loop on a schedule or a webhook, so you wake up to finished work.
See every token
A local MITM proxy captures every Claude API call and itemizes it — system prompt, history, tool results, cache reads — so you see the exact token count and dollar cost of every session, project and agent, with guardrails that warn, block or auto-compact before spend runs away.
Immortal, persistent sessions
Every session in mai runs detached and tmux-backed. Close the laptop, kill the wifi, reboot the machine — your shells, builds and long-running Claude agents keep working and are exactly where you left them. Idle sessions sleep to reclaim RAM and resume on demand.
One workspace, every screen
Tile a whole fleet of Claude sessions into one panel workspace — split, swap, save layouts, pop out. Read any session as a raw terminal or a clean chat.
